Physical Description: Thirty pieced blocks made of squares and triangles in predominately blue, green, and lavender fabrics make up this quilt. The white background is quilted in a design that resembles a spider web. The quilting stitches were done at six to ten stitches to the inch. It is edged with turquoise triangles.
Description: More than thirty quilters from Washington, Oregon and Idaho participated in an outdoor quilting bee during Spokane's Expo '74. With the help of visitors, they completed this quilt and five others during the six-month run of this 1974 fair. The patchwork pattern of this pieced quilt is often referred to as "Bear Paw", among other names.
