| Biography/History: | Fay Jones was born in Boston in 1936. In 1957, she recieved her B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, R.I. Her honors include the Individual Artist Fellowship Grant from the1989/1990 National Endowment for the Arts, the 1984 Individual Artists Fellowship Grant from the Washinton State Arts Commission. and the 1983 Visual Artist Fellowship Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.|Information found in an artist resume from Accession #3668. |
