| Biography/History: | Connie Huneke grew up in Spokane Washington and died at the age of 84 in 1999 in Spokane. She graduated from Pomona College in California and then returned to Spokane. She was active in the Spokane arts scene, volunteering for the Cheney Cowles Museum and participating as a Trustee for the Eastern Washington State Historical Society. She served as president for the Spokane Art School and in 2000 had a gallery named after her. She was a landscape painter and credited her many years of study at the Washington State University sponsored art center for her education and development as a painter. |
