| Biography/History: | Gaylen Hansen was born in 1921 in Garland, Utah. From 1939-1940, he studied at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles. He received his B.S. from Utah State Agricultural College in 1952 and this M.F.A. from the University of Southern California in 1953. He spent twenty-five years teaching at Washington State University and lives in Palouse, Washington. (from artists' resume) |
