| Biography/History: | Sarah Elizabeth Ferris was born on Feb. 10, 1915 in Spokane WA to parents Joel E. Ferris (1874-1960) and Clara Louise Hughes (?-1938). In 1939 she married Cheney Cowles (1908-1943) and they had two children Phoebe (b. 1941) and Frank Cheney (b. 1943) before Cheney Cowles died during World War II. Sarah re-married in 1945 to Edwin Griffin; they had one child Elizabeth in 1950. In 1956, Sarah married for a third time, to Cecil Robb Fuller (1901-1972). Sarah died in 1973, a year after Cecil’s death. |
