Physical Description: Dress chemise style. Full length with bias cut flair at bottom. V neck gathered at V. Bottom of self jabot, straight sleeves with large bias flair below wrist. Underdress of net top with white silk bottom from bust down, printed splashily with red, yellow, blue, and violet flowers. Overdress is delicate gray crepe, with a leaf pattern, showing print of underdress though it; loose and low waist sash added.
Description: As the decade of the 1930s reached its end, fashion reverted to a long silhouette. Waistlines made a tentative reappearance. Fabrics and cut clung more closely to the body, foreshadowing a return to softer feminine form in the 1930s.
