Description: | Inez Hill Bailey was an active and prolific mid-century Spokane area artist who is represented in several Washington state museum collections. She also was a career nurse; until 1961 she served as head surgical nurse at Edgecliff Hospital for tuberculosis patients. The subject matter of this watercolor sketch shows the influence of her experiences as a nurse on her artwork. |
