Description: Natatorium Park delighted Inland Northwest residents from 1889 until 1968. To boost trolley ridership, the Spokane Street Railway Company created the park at the end of a residential line. Nat Park entertained as many as 500,000 people each year - to dance, picnic, laugh, scream, and stuff themselves full of popcorn along the river's edge, enjoying rides, gardens, concerts and sports. This sign, mounted on the side of a mail truck, offered mobile advertising.
