Physical Description: | Woman's hat of black silk. Rounded crown and very wide brim. Trimmed with concentric circles of novelty net and black silk faille. Inner circle has wire reinforcements; outer circles of wire and cardboard. Two attached decorations of pearl-covered flowers. Top of hat covered with black ostrich plumes. Horsehair lining and overlying of black faille. Elastic neckband. Accompanied by cardboard hat box, believed by donor to be the original. |
