Description: | Inland Northwest women's rights activist Marion Moos began creating her button bag in the 1970s. Its buttons represent the range of feminist issues, conventions, and candidates that she supported throughout the women's movement. A founding member of the Spokane Chapter of the National Organization for Women, she was also on the organizing committee for this state's 1977 International Women's Year conference that developed a timetable for removing state barriers to equality. |
