Description: Campbell House and its household represent a web of social and economic relationships within the region and beyond. A series of oral history interviews with Campbell family friends, business associates, employees, and descendants of these players provides insight into these many relationships. This interview features Josephine Murphey Carter's early life in Browne's Addition, Spokane, primarily featuring social life. Her father founded Murphey, Favre Company.
