Physical Description: | Ceramic/stoneware sculpture. Black stoneware basket with a green slip. The handle of the basket is in the shape of a rabbit, with a hole straight through for the eyes, spanning the basket two legs on either side of the oval shaped bowl. The four legs of the basket each have attached rabbit heads with faces, hole straight through for the eyes, pointing up and ears pointing down. The interior of the bowl has an incised rabbit drawing. The texture of the basket is extremely rough, pocked, and crackled. Each of the legs of the basket have a hole on the upper interior near the join with the bowl of the basket. |
