Description: | To aid the widow of Spokane's F. Lewis ."ark, Louis Davenport purchased several estate items. Among them was this mahogany-framed globe, a gift to Winifred Clark from Germany's Kaiser Wilhelm after he lost a yachting race against her husband. A plaque on the mahogany stand reads "Winifred, 1909." |
