Physical Description: Four poster bed (A-B) with side rails (C-D), mattress box (E) and linen set. Bed made of brown wood. Linen set consists of: bedspread (J) made of white cotton print with tiny pink, red and blue flowers; bedspread has ruffles on two sides. Two white cotton sheets (I, K) with embroidery at top. Pink and white square patchwork quilt (L) with pink border and white embroidery. Mattress (F) covered with a tan floral print; eight white pearl buttons on each side of the mattress form tuffs. A long, narrow pillow (G) that matches the mattress. White pillow case (H) that matches the white sheets.
Description: Like many young well-to-do girls of her time, Helen Campbell (1892-1967) enjoyed collecting dolls and accessories. She acquired this doll bed from Kathrine Chickering, a Browne's Addition neighbor.
