| Biography/History: | Katherine Louise Chickering b. 14 Nov 1896 in Spokane to John Douglas Chickering & Anna Louise Foote. In 1900 the Chickering family was living at 2063 Coeur d'Alene Ave; Chickering's occupation was in hardware man[ufacture?]. Katherine attended Vassar College, 1916-1917; she married Robert Chapin Candee, Army officer on 7 Aug 1928. In 1943 the couple was living at W 701 14th Spokane. Candee d. June 1963 and was buried in Arlington Cemetery. Katherine d. 14 Jul 1990 in Missouri and was buried in Pittsford NY. |
