Physical Description: | Impression of an inland northwest landscape. Sketchy expressionistic quality. Thin paint layers built up. Very thin layers exposing primed canvas in areas at top and bottom edges. Paint layers and intensity of color build toward center. At the horizontal center of the painting reside the richest colors, texture, and paint application. Predominant colors: ochre, greens, burnt sienna, violet. |
