Title: Woman's Office Suit

Physical Description: Beige polyester knit suit consists of dress and jacket and belt. Style is western influenced, with rust-colored imitation suede, gold buttons and rust topstitch detail.
Description: Blue jeans and western-style fashion were popular during the 1970s following a 1960s trend toward uni-sex styles. Many 1970s feminists adopted the male model of the good life in sex, work, marriage, and parenthood. Such influences may explain this unique ensemble probably intended for office wear.
