Description: | Edward Boyce was born in Ireland and immigrated to the U.S. in 1882. He worked his way west for five years, arriving in Wardner, ID in 1887. He became a strong labor organizer who eventually became president of the Western Federation of Miners, a position he held from 1896-1902. |
