| Biography/History: | Ruben Trejo recieved his A.A., B.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1969. As a Mexican-American artist, Ruben Trejo combined Pre-Columbian and Mexican themes with his American experience to create an iconography that often commented ironically on its own sources and communicated the richness and intricacies of cultural differences and similarities.
