Biography/History: J. Scott Patnode received an A.B. degree from Gonzaga University in 1968 and was awarded a graduate fellowship to study at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. In 1970, he received a M.F.A. degree in painting and printmaking and returned to Gonzaga University that Fall to teach Design and head the Printmaking Department. He recently (2012) retired from director and curator of the Jundt Art Museum at Gonzaga University. Information taken from an artist biography in accession file #2608.
