| Biography/History: | Jim Kraft was born in 1949 and now lives and works near Seattle, WA. He received his BA in Ceramics in 1973 from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI; his BFA in Ceramics in 1979 from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA; and studied Ceramics at the Factory of Visual Arts in Seattle. He is currently represented by Pucini Lubel in Seattle, WA, but also has participated in exhibits throughout the Northwest. Jim Kraft is known for his large slab made ceramic vessels which play with desert colors and low key texture-based designs. |
