| Biography/History: | Hamilton Hamilton was a landscape and portrait painter. He was born in Middlesex, England in 1847 and he died in Norwalk, Conneticut in 1928. He was largely self-taught and he had immigrated to the United States while he was still an infant. In 1872, he opened a studio in Buffalo, NY and in 1875, he explored and painted in the Rocky Mountains. He returned to New York City in 1881. |
