| Biography/History: | Kathleen Cavender was born and raised in 1953 in Spokane, WA and currently lives and works in Spokane, WA. She was influenced to become an artist by her grandfather who was a professional artist, and in high school she won several national awards for her artwork. She considers herself a self-taught fourth generation artist. Kathleen Cavendar also is also a local jazz artist. She is known for her pastel paintings, but is fluent in other mediums. |
