| Biography/History: | Dana Boussard was born in Salem, Oregon and was raised in Choteau, Montana. Art and talk of art was always present in their home. Dana studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, the University of Chicago, St. Mary's College at Notre Dame, Indiana, and received her M.F.A. from the University of Montana in 1968. In the 70's she worked with both the Montana Arts Council and the New York State Council on the Arts, Artists-in-Schools programs. She has been considered a protest artist, one who uses art to point the finger at societal ills.
