| Biography/History: | George Biddle was born in Philadelphia in 1885. He studied art in Paris and Munich. He is a member of the American Society of Painters, Sculptors and Gravers and the Mural Painters Society. He is also the author of the book "Green Island. His work can be found in many collections throughout the world, including the Metropolitan Museum, the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, Kaiser Freidrich's Museum in Berlin, the Galeria d'Arte Moderna in Venice, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Chicago Art Institute and the Pennsylvanian Academy of Fine Arts. |
