Description: | For the Campbell's family and guest bedrooms, decorator William Otis chose the Colonial Revival style, with its white painted woodwork and soothing pastel wall and ceiling papers. To fill the large "yellow" guest bedroom, he selected expensive Axminster carpet and a suite of mahogany furniture: four post bed, bureau (cheffonier) with shaving mirror, and dressing table with mirror. The Campbell family soon added this chaise longue with a bookcase set into one end. |
