Imprinted on one side: "UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY - 1802-1952 - SESQUICENTENNIAL" surrounding a relief pattern of vertical sword, torch and wreath. Imprinted on other side: "WEST POINT - DUTY - HONOR - COUNTRY" surrounding an eagle, printed ribbon and shield.
Description: This medallion marks West Point's U.S. Military Academy sesquicentennial, 1802-1952. The medal is one of six items collected by the Campbell-Powell family of Spokane, Washington, but little documentation exists for its use or specific association with the family.
