Description: | In addition to chandeliers and sconces wired into the Campbell's ceilings and walls, historic Library photographs show several portable lamps that appear to have been converted from kerosene to electricity. A unique art glass lamp sits on the center table, its cord plugged into the chandelier above. A tall brass "banquet" lamp features an elaborate shade with crystal prisms hanging from its rim. And this small green-shaded "student" lamp sits on the sofa arm for reading. |
