Description: | Gertrude McKernan, Spokane, Washington, retired from Spokane Health Dept. R.N. WWI American Red Cross Nurse. Small box of Misc. Items plus military uniform from WWI. The McKernans were pioneers of Spokane. She received the Victory Metal and a medal with inscription " Repvlioqve Francaise" with Mlle. McKernan 1919 engraved. She served as a Red Cross Nurse in France during World War I. |
