Physical Description: Plates, dessert size, sterling, cast and raised iris motif border, initials "GFC" at center, by Shreve and Co., San Francisco.
Description: In 1903 while in California, Amasa Campbell purchased a "complete silver set for Grace", likely referring to either their stylish Art Nouveau "Iris" pattern sterling silver coffee and tea service marked "Shreve & Co San Francisco" or their "Lily" pattern sterling flatware set. Grace Campbell later purchased "Iris" dessert plates and serving tray, possibly paid for by checks that she wrote to Shreve & Co in 1905 ($200) and 1915 ($35).
