| Description: | Eudora Parker Mead worked as a dressmaker to support herself and her young daughter while waiting for her husband to return from prospecting. She made this quilt with scraps saved from gowns made during that time. According to family history, Eudora became so excited while working on this quilt that "she couldn't sleep at night." |
