Physical Description: | This quilt is made of unbleached cotton, identical lavender and green prints, blue and white flowered print and either wool or Dacron filling. Delicate handling of all aspects of quilt making. The blocks were pieced by hand and sewn together on a machine. There are 42 blocks in a 6 x 7 arrangement, set on the diagonal. The scalloped border is bound with lavender bias binding of the same material as the blocks. |
Description: | The same print in three different colorways was used in this quilt. The fabric appears to be from the 1930s or 1940s. |
