Physical Description: Tan leather boots with folded cuffs and red trim with simple stitched detailing. They have a one inch slit down back, connected with red ribbon ties, small holes on the heels and brown polished leather soles.
Description: Like many young well-to-do girls of her time, Helen Campbell (1892-1967) enjoyed collecting dolls and accessories representing different countries. Popular fascination with world exploration grew through the 19th century. Wealthy families took Grand Tours of Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including the Campbell's visits to Egypt and Europe in 1904 and 1909-1910.
