Physical Description: A brass colored metal pin back medal. The top part is elongated and irregularly shaped with raised borders containing some filigree work. The borders are smooth and the recessed inner portions have a darker matte finish. In relief in the middle of this portion is printed: TACOMA RAND CHAPTER O.E.S. WASH. Attached to the bottom by a single chain link is brass colored metal five pointed star on a circular brass background with filigreed borders. Each of the five rays of the star has a different symbol in it. The star has the same raised borders and matte finish inside. The middle of the star has a raised pentagon shape with the letters F,A,T,A and L etched into the sides. Inside the pentagon is another symbol, possibly a stand with a book.
