Physical Description: | Seven netted olive shells in cardboard display case including the specimen's name, the location, and A.B. Campbell. The shells are long and hollow with slit-shaped openings down one side. They are beige with speckled browns and greens on the out side and a bluish white on the inside. |
Description: | After Grace Campbell died in 1924 and her home became a museum, the family donated several small collections, probably amassed by Amasa B, Campbell (1845-1912). These ranged from souvenir paperweights and military ribbons, to a collection of seashells and mineral specimens gathered from regional mining sites. |
