Description: | A 1944 graduate of Lewis and Clark High School, Spokane resident Henry Odean achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. On graduating from high school, Odean enlisted in the US Navy, serving for two years as a Signalman 3rd Class in the South Pacific. While in the Navy, Henry recalled entertaining his fellow sailors with his knot-tying prowess, a skill he mastered as a Boy Scout in Spokane. |
