Description: | Kathleen Gemberling Adkison, a major modernist painter abstracts the stark landscape of the Spokane area into shining mystical oil paintings. "Moss Wraith," transmits the same haunting experiences as do her paintings layering color with printer's screens instead of the painter's brush. In this composition, abstracted forms suggest vegetation in an approximate seven screen print. |
