Physical Description: | Twenty-eight blocks, each constructed from four right-angle triangles, are separated by white sashing. The sashing is inscribed with names, dates, and places. Right-angle triangles are placed along all four edges and in two of the corners. A wide range of print fabrics, including florals, animals, dolls, butterflies, and plaids, was used to make the blocks. |
Description: | This is one of two quilts made in honor of Rachel Katherine Chamberlin Miner's 85th birthday. Family members constructed the top, and it was quilted by one of her daughters. Rachel Miner, who was born in 1897 in Oklahoma Territory, lived in Spokane for many years. She died in 1995. |
