Physical Description: Shallow metal mail box with a mail slit on top, punched detail near the bottom and square opening on the from that is locked with a key.
Description: This mailbox was mounted to the Spokane house built by Amasa and Grace Campbell in 1898 and occupied by the family until 1924. While mail delivery occurred regularly before those years, the city's population was booming, warranting a grand new U.S. Post Office that opened in 1908 in the heart the city.
