Description: | In 1898 the Campbells contracted Cleveland interior decorator William Otis to specify furnishings for their new Spokane home. Otis selected high-quality wallpapers, floor coverings, window treatments, and major furnishings typical of those found in the homes of wealthy late 19th century families. The revival-style furniture was likely ordered from a Midwest manufacturer. The Campbell's dining room featured a suite of carved mahogany: table and chairs to seat up to 12, as well as sideboard, serving table, and china cabinet. |
