Physical Description: | Pre- World War II model "Lockheed Sirius" two seater toy airplane with open cockpits. Plane is painted ivory on body with red wings, chrome propeller and nose piece, and metal wheels with rubber tires on front. Front wheels also have ivory colored streamlined wheel covers. At wing tip there are two small lightbulb sockets and a space on the plane belly for batteries so plane likely originally had working lights. It appears that originally a mechanism turned the propeller and made the front wheels roll when the plane was pushed. |
