Description: | After the Inland Northwest aired its first television broadcast in 1952, Spokane television station KXLY acquired this camera and used it until 1973. After World War II, television broadcasting stations began to emerge all over the nation. With increased advertising and more affordable pricing, household television purchases rose rapidly. Satellite dish technology in the 1980s made many more channels available to rural homes. |
