Description: | Manufactured sacks made of cotton cloth were commonly used as flour packaging from the late 1800s to the 1960s. Pacific Northwest mills exported flour to the Chinese market as early as the 1890s, and, generally, the trade was brokered by Hong Kong merchants. |
