Physical Description: | Three Gold mineral specimens. Two of the stones have a crystalline and green matrix as well as orange and white hues. One (A) has a 11 written on it and includes a description card. The other (B) has a 12 written on it. A third stone (C) has a tag with it but no number written on it and includes a description card. This stone has a predominantly white matrix with gold flecks in it. |
Description: | After Grace Campbell died in 1924 and her home became a museum, the family donated several small collections, probably amassed by Amasa B, Campbell (1845-1912). These ranged from souvenir paperweights and military ribbons, to a collection of seashells and mineral specimens gathered from regional mining sites. |
