Physical Description: | This piece is part of an antique quilt, which was remade into a wall hanging. The border is a green print with little white flowers. There are 12 squares with alternating orange-red-white, with blue-red-white patterns. The blue fabric has a pattern of small white hearts. The back of the quilt is cream colored with visible seams and bright green edging. There is a muslin sleeve attached on one side (for hanging). |
Description: | Dolly Perry, a longtime volunteer at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, made this wall-hanging from a nineteenth-century quilt handed down in her family. Dolly moved to Spokane around 1960 and died in 2009. |
