Description: | Louis and Verus Davenport and their son Lewis all had an eye for acquiring beautiful decorative arts. In 1987 Lewis bequeathed over 125 family pieces to this museum, along with funds to preserve them and to create expanded museum galleries. Helene F. Smith designed this bronze statue, produced in 1908 by the S. Klaber & Co. foundry in New York. |
