Physical Description: This Crazy quilt has six blocks each containing irregularly shaped pieces that have been embellished with embroidery. Most of the motifs are floral. It is bordered on all four sides with gold-colored velvet.
Description: It is easy to see why Ida Walker won a blue ribbon for this Crazy Quilt at the 1920 Spokane Fair. It is lavishly embroidered with an array of flowers and other motifs. Ida immigrated from Russia in 1887 and lived in Spokane for many years.
