Physical Description: Silver clothes brush with decorative sterling handle, three inch soft horsehair bristles, and decorative monogram "GFC" engraved on brush handle near top.
Description: Sets of monogrammed sterling silver dressing table accessories, like hand mirrors, hair brushes, and combs, were popular among the well-to-do. Their designs often resembled those of flatware patterns. Grace Campbell's sinuous Art Nouveau hand mirror evoked Whiting's 1880 "Heraldic" pattern. Her clothes brush was monogrammed "GFC".
