The purse has a tortoise shell clasp, cord handle, and brown satin lining. The fringe is beaded with loops of brown and a pattern of red with blue, green, or yellow.
Description: Beaded evening bags have been popular accessories for many decades. The Museum Collection preserves over 150 purses - made of leather, mesh, embroidery, yarn and sequin - in addition to dozens of Plateau Indian beaded bags.
