Gold Star MothersGrace Darling Seibold formed the Gold Star Mothers organization in 1928. Chapters were started across the nation in most major cities including Spokane. The organization's purpose was to promote patriotism and the American ideals that young soldiers fought for. The Gold Star Mothers organization continues today, actively supports U.S. military veterans, and works to promote American idealism and patriotic values. |
